In the summer of 2013, Entrepreneur and Chef, Leslie Valentin opened Kasavista’s doors to the seaside town and fishing village of Fajardo, PR. Chef Leslie Valentin is well versed in this environment, with over 22 years in the hospitality and restaurant business.
In the past he served as the opening team for El Conquistador Resort as well as Project Manager and General Manager for numerous successful restaurants, including establishments such as Perla Restaurant, Stingray Café, Rodizio Brasileiro and Ballyhoo Bar and Grill much of which continue to operate with huge success. He also oversaw the opening of 5 Taco Bell stores within the Pepsi Co Company. These past experiences inspired him to open a restaurant where he could create a memorable experience for his patrons that would assure their return, time and time again.
Casual Indoor Dining
Our venue offers a variety of options for lunch, dinner, cocktails and small bites. The casual indoor dining room seats 80 people and features scenic ocean views while the outdoor-dining deck seats 24 people. Its warm ambiance coupled with attentive servers; invite you to a dining experience like no other.
Kasavista features a delightful menu created by Chef Leslie Valentin. It is inspired by Puerto Rican cuisine along with a Caribbean Fusion, utilizing fresh and native ingredients. Our menu boasts locally caught fish such as Grouper, Dorado, Red Snapper and Lobster. In addition to our fresh fish, we also offer chicken, steak, lamb and pork. Our plates are expertly paired with bold and creative sauces, accompanied by balanced and delicious side dishes.
Kasavista’s signature appetizer is the Coconut Curry Shrimp served over a risotto cake. The sauce of this dish is best described as creamy, sweet and salty, all in one. A fusion of bold flavors that your palate will appreciate. And don’t miss from our entrees, the Panko Crusted Grouper accompanied by pureed beans, a root vegetable mash and topped with a cilantro and garlic butter sauce.
Kasavista’s desserts include our signature and highly in demand Guava and Cheese Soufflé and our Nutella Soufflé, baked to order among other items.
Kasavista’s signature beverage is our home made sangria. We have a range of fine red and white wines by the glass and bottle, as well as sparkling wines and champagne. Our sit down bar also offers top shelf liquors.
Kasavista is conveniently located steps away from the El Conquistador Resort in Las Croabas, Fajardo and approximately 30 minutes from San Juan and Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport.
